Please be advised that the site spl-legal.com (hereinafter, the “Site”) is operated by SPL | Strategic Partners Legal. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “T&C”) govern the use of the Site under the clauses set out below and apply regardless of the device (personal computer, mobile device or any other type) or IP address used to access the Site.
For the purposes of this document, “User” means any person who uses, enters, consults, explores and/or browses the Site.
Accessing, using, consulting and/or browsing the Site means that the User is aware of, accepts and is bound by these “T&C”, constituting a valid and binding agreement between the User and SPL | Strategic Partners Legal.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site has been created by SPL | Strategic Partners Legal for the following purposes:
- To inform the User about the services it offers, its track record and its activity.
- To allow Users who wish to engage the services of SPL | Strategic Partners Legal to contact the firm.

- To make available to the User information, content, news and/or publications related to the practice areas served by SPL | Strategic Partners Legal.
The information contained on the Site is provided as an informational service and does not require prior registration, unless otherwise indicated in a specific section.
2. Consent
The User understands and accepts that using, consulting and/or browsing the Site means that they are aware of, accept and are bound by these “T&C”. If the User does not agree with any of the terms set out here, they must refrain from using the Site.
3. Intellectual Property and Content
All content published on the Site (texts, images, logos, trademarks, designs, videos, databases, among others) is protected by Intellectual Property rights and is owned by SPL | Strategic Partners Legal or by third parties who have authorised its use.

The Site may contain links or redirect the User to external sites unrelated to SPL | Strategic Partners Legal. In such cases, the User is advised that they will be redirected to a site governed by terms and conditions, privacy notices and security measures different from those of the Site.
SPL | Strategic Partners Legal is not responsible for sites belonging to and/or operated by third parties that the User accesses voluntarily; we therefore recommend reading the terms and conditions and privacy notices of those sites.

6. User Obligations
Users of the Site undertake to:
- Become informed of and comply with these “T&C”.
- Respect the Intellectual Property rights in the content of the Site.
- Refrain from infringing the rights to privacy, integrity and likeness of the persons appearing on the Site.
- Inform SPL | Strategic Partners Legal of any failure, error or problem detected on the Site.
- Refrain from any act that may constitute a security breach or an attack on the Site.
- Refrain from reverse engineering, using data extraction tools (scraping) or creating their own databases with the content of the Site, without express authorisation.
- Refrain from using the content of the Site to impersonate SPL | Strategic Partners Legal or to engage in fraudulent conduct.
- Refrain from using contact information obtained from the Site to send unsolicited communications (spam) or for unlawful purposes.
- Refrain from disseminating, through the Site, unlawful content or content that harms the integrity of third parties.
- Refrain from engaging in any conduct contrary to good Internet practice and applicable legislation.
Breach of any of these obligations will entitle SPL | Strategic Partners Legal to terminate the User’s access to the Site and to pursue the corresponding legal actions. The User will be liable for any damage, loss or regulatory breach arising from failure to observe these “T&C”.
7. Personal Data
Any personal data that SPL | Strategic Partners Legal may collect through the Site, through the email address info@spl-legal.com and/or the telephone numbers +52 55 3853 8106 and +52 55 4758 8257 will be processed in accordance with the corresponding Privacy Notice.
The User is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide through the Site’s contact channels, including their personal data, and must be the owner of that data or hold legitimate authorisation to provide it.
8. Complaints Procedure
If the User wishes to notify SPL | Strategic Partners Legal of any breach of these “T&C”, they may do so through the contact email address or the contact form on the Site, using the subject line “Terms and Conditions SPL | Strategic Partners Legal”.
SPL | Strategic Partners Legal will have 15 (fifteen) business days to respond, setting out the procedure, the status of the request or, where applicable, the grounds for its dismissal.
SPL | Strategic Partners Legal reserves the right not to address complaints that are not duly substantiated, that do not prove the identity of the applicant, or that do not include sufficient contact details for a response to be given.
10. Invalid Provisions
Should any provision of these “T&C” be deemed unenforceable, void or invalid under applicable law, it will be replaced by a valid provision that fulfils, to the greatest extent possible, the objective of the original provision. The remainder of the “T&C” will continue in full force and effect.
11. Term and Amendments
These “T&C” will remain in force indefinitely for as long as the Site is active. SPL | Strategic Partners Legal reserves the right to amend them at any time by publishing the corresponding updates on the Site. Such amendments will not have retroactive effect in respect of activities already completed by the User.
12. Interpretation and Jurisdiction
These “T&C” will be interpreted in accordance with current Mexican law, the relevant international treaties and good Internet practice.
In the event of any dispute arising from the interpretation or performance of this agreement, the User agrees to submit to Mexican law and to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile.
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Spanish version of these Terms and Conditions is the legally binding text and shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy.
